Seller’s notes about this car

Gets fantastic gas mileage and if you do the normal maintenance she will go a long long time I would love to keep it but lost my job and can't afford payment and insurance. So it has to go original sticker was $36000 it's priced fair and I know dealers would ask a few thousand more for it.

I drive for Uber, and this is the perfect car for

I drive for Uber, and this is the perfect car for ride-share drivers. I did previously drove an Acura MDX which was more comfortable and luxurious, but at 21 mpg it just didn't make since. The dealer was surprised and asked if I was trading it for the Prius, I assured him I knew what I was doing. Turns out it is the smartest car I have ever owned and for me was a very smart purchase. Do not give it a 2nd thought if you are on the fence. I can get Luggage into the back that surprises people with the amount of space, way more that a sedan with a regular trunk, and the ride is surprisingly comfortable. I am averaging 54 mpg which is just phenomenal. As a bonus the maintenance and tires are way cheaper to maintain and replace too. These are built in Japan and it shows quality wise.

Excellent Car/Well built/Comfortable/ Great MPG

This is a great car. Had it for almost two years now. One of the previous reviews said it was too small for a 6.1 guy, but I am 6.2 and it is very comfortable, but if you are significantly overweight it maybe a tight fit. This car is still made in Japan and it's so much better than the junk put out by GM that's for sure. It's kind of goofy to blame the federal government for making you buy the car. Thank goodness for a federal government that is trying to clean the air and help the working man is all I can say.

Not for tall people

We purchased this Prius after we were forced to by the current federal administration. I am 6’1 and the wife is 5’10 and the car was NOT designed for tall people to get in and out of. As far as MPG, there is none better. At times we got 60 MPG but the average is more along 40 to 45 MPG. The windshield broke rather easily by a rock and had to be replaced because the next day the entire windshield cracked. That cost over $800 before insurance deductible. One of the tires blew out also and the Toyota Fix a flat system is a total joke. PLEASE get the tire insurance if you purchase this car. We had to have it towed 35 miles to the nearest dealer to replace the tire. The tire insurance paid for it all. We had to pay over invoice for the car due to everyone buying them. I regret giving up our GMC Acadia but again we were forced to. My wife has to drive an hour to work every day. Because of JB stance on fossil fuels we could not afford the gas bill every week. The controls on the dash get a little getting used to. The stick shift is weird but you get used to it until you drive a different vehicle then it’s weird again. I do like the way the dash is laid out. The seats are much better than my Ram 1500 Classic. It doesn’t look roomy but after you fold down the rear seat it gives you about 5 & 3/4 feet of storage. Me personally, I’d like my GMC back, but we are stuck like Chuck with this for now. But it’s a gone pecan if fuel prices ever go down. The dealership did us wrong and I tried to complain to Toyota but they just sent the complaint back to the dealer and they never responded. After reading reviews this is not uncommon.
