I bought my 08 ES a little over a month ago with 144k on
I bought my 08 ES a little over a month ago with 144k on it. So far I am genuinely LOVING this car. I don’t think I’ll ever not drive a Lexus from here on out. I’ve already put almost 2k on it because I just have so much fun driving it! The 272 HP is kinda crazy, it’s very quick! Never drove a car with that much horsepower before so I was shocked LOL. Very comfy to be in and really hard to believe it’s an 08. I have the backup camera so it really makes me feel like I’m in a newer car. Can’t say enough good things. I will be driving this “til the wheels fall off”! Go buy one if you need a “new” reliable ride. You won’t regret it :D - Does recommend this car

Still love this car
Bought at 83k in 2014 and now have 169k. Only things wrong have been an O2 sensor, water pump and a couple of toyota batteries. Still rides like a dream and I can get over 30mpg if I do almost all highway. Hope to drive es' my entire life. - Purchased a Used car

Still holds up
Bought 2008 es 350 with 115k for 5k ..have done about 900$ of maintenance on it . Gas is ok 24 mpg total can get better if you drive conservative on highway. Exterior looks like a maxima. Interior is nice comfy .has AUX and Bluetooth is for talking only. I have put 30k miles on it and runs smooth. Still hold up very well.everything works. - Purchased a Used car

Great car. Balanced and reliable
This car is amazing. Got it in Nigeria with over 128k Miles and 2 previous users (the second owner was a Nigerian). Still drives like a dream. i had to replace the lights because it was hard to see with it at night. I realize the previous owner didnt have it placed carefully so the hi-beam wasn't as effective before i changed it. Now pushed it over 138k miles and apart from minor repairs and the usual recurring servicing (Oil changes, filter, Plugs, etc), i don't have any issues with it. I only get frustrated by how expensive the parts have gotten due to the inflation in my country. However, these days i'm beginning to see a lot more people drive this car in my city, and i'm thinking people are beginning to wake up to how reliable it is. - Purchased a Used car

2008 Lexus ES 350 is a great car!
Bought my "retirement car" January 2022. It's the first luxury car I've owned. I drove exclusively Toyotas, Hondas and Mazdas for 35-plus years. I really wanted a BMW, but the more research I did, the more I realized they are too needy. My '08 Lexus had a one-owner and had been serviced at the local Lexus dealership. The car was pristine inside and out. I had a pre-purchase inspection. Other than tires that were 10 - 12 years old (still had plenty of thread, there were no major or minor issues. All the electronics work. I got 29.5 mpg on an all interstate trip at 65 mph. In mixed driving, I get 22 - 25 mpg. I did violate the Lexus owner code of only using Michelin tires. I've had really good luck with Bridgestone tires and I put Turanza Quiettrack tires on in April. I can't believe how much less road noise there is in my Lexus. I don't notice road noise until I ride/drive another non-luxury car. I think two things hurt its value, however. One, it seems everyone wants a truck or an SUV; and two, it uses premium gas. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my Lexus and plan to own it for 7 - 10 years. - Purchased a Used car

2008 ES350
I have a 2008 ES350 that I bought in March if 2021 in the crazy car market. With only 59,990 on the odometer I was out the door under 12 grand! It was cared for and serviced at the Lexus dealer near me. I have put 6,000 miles on it in that 1 year and put $2500 into it excluding gas. The tires we knew had to be replaced but would make it to next year, in December of 2021 I had to replace the front brakes. Alright that’s cool, normal stuff. But then came the issues… in the winter only, it makes a loud grinding noise on startup, but only on the first startup. I live in Ohio where it snows half the year (unfortunately.), and the transmission has a flare when it shifts from 4-5th gear. A transmission service didn’t fix this either, I also had to replace 3 TPMS sensors & 4 tires (which I knew.) but then, my axle shaft was leaking when I went in for an oil change so that costed me $400… overall, I would recommend this vehicle. And now my brakes are grinding barely through the pedal, so back to the dealer I go. As a first car it’s definitely not what I expected but it’s amazing. On the highway paired with Michelin tires, it is very comfortable and quiet. I love the power from it so much I won’t go back to a N/A I4 engine. We had a 2021 Camry with the I4, never again N/A I4, it’s that good! I average 22-26 in the spring-fall, but once winter hits it averages 19-20. If you do end up buying one of these & it has the HID AFS lights (adaptive lights.) please replace the bulbs immediately as they might turn on, but at night they you wont be able to see anything. I got a few months couldn’t figure out why my lights weren’t lighting up the road. That’s why. - Purchased a Used car

Smooth as butter
Very comfortable and quiet ride. I was very impressed this is a 12.5 yr old car I just purchased. Goes to show with consistent maintenance these Lexus' ooze with quality and reliability. Interior is spacious and the 272 hp V-6 is plenty powerful. Glad I didn't over look this cream puff. Should resell with minimal loss or I just may keep it as a second vehicle. - Purchased a Used car

Fine choice for an entry-level luxury sedan
My favorite things about the Lexus ES350 are fuel economy, rear seat roominess, smooth ride, quietness and acceleration. The Lexus ES350 has a strong performance and beautiful interior, is a fine choice for an entry-level luxury sedan. - Purchased a Used car

Great car that I got from my late dad .
I got this car from my father that passed away in Dec 2019. This car only had 57 634 miles when I got it in Jun 2020. My dad was very sick at 87 but the car was sitting at his house for about 6 months without being driven. And so far so good. I've been taking care of it since. Very nice and reliable car. - Purchased a Used car
