If the ad is up- it's still available ! -- 1988 M-Benz 420SEL W126 -- Clean Title -- No Trades Cash only , wire transfer, personal or certified check -- VIN # WDBCA35D7JA425653 -- Video: https://youtu.be/SaSSN1PDQT4 -- Bought by its current owner a few years ago with the hopes of continuing on restoring and enjoying the classic big body'd M-Benz, unfortunately, due to the high demands of his career and raising his kids, he must sell his 88' 420SEL. -- Overall, body is in great shape and evidence of a recent re-paint. -- Don't know how old the paint is, but shows very well !! --Paint does have a couple of small chips upon close inspection. -- Very solid floors, trunk pan, pillar corners, wheel wells and firewall. -- Most of the chrome is great shape, some requires some good polishing to really shine. -- Glass & trim in great shape. -- Interior is clean. -- Nice door panels, carpet and headliner. -- No cracks on the dash pad. -- False wood in center console is cracked and show age. -- Center armrest also showing wear. Driver's top door panel shows a gouge. -- Driver's seat could use new foam to firm it up- does feel its age. -- Working gauges. -- Working heat. -- AC in-op. -- Both power seats work. -- No signs of abuse, neglect or ever being smoked in. -- 4.2L V8 starts right up and settles to smooth idle. -- Car comes with recent service receipts showing $4,300 spent on timing chain, tune up, fluids changed, various suspension service work performed. -- Transmission shifts smoothly. -- Car tracks well and brakes well. -- Good tire tread on all four tires. -- Does have aged factory wheels - driver's side, natural finish, passenger side, chrome...
