I recently traded in my 2015 F150 platinum after owning
I recently traded in my 2015 F150 platinum after owning for 8 years. I bought used with 42k miles on it with the 3.5 ecoboost. I loved the comfort of driving and the style of it. Couldn’t have been a better experience driving it on all the long trips. Unfortunately I settled with the engine instead of waiting for a 5.0 to be available. The problems started with 2 weeks of buying the sunroof broke then at 60k miles with the transmission dying. Turbo lines were leaking fluid costing $4k to fix. Back window track falling on to my daughter’s car seat. Head gasket seal replaced at 100k miles. TPMS failed and never replaced them for $700. Air conditioner had issues here and there after so long Max A/C was like normal fan on high. Other miscellaneous sensors were replaced. Overall I had $26k in service repairs. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty or it would’ve been gone a long time ago. Sadly I got to 150k miles and the sunroof broke again after minimal usage throughout the years. With out a warranty anymore I couldn’t go down this road again. - Purchased a Used car

Had manifold replaced just over 21/2 yrs ago less then 30,000 mileage , by dealer and now again broke bolts an twisted manifold cover Very unhappy with eco boost engine!! Seems no recourse! less then 30,000 miles. - Does not recommend this car

Great Truck!
One of the best vehicles I've ever owned. The only thing I ever had to do with it is replace a water pump after 151,000 mi well built and great value for the money. - Purchased a New car

Good and Bad
Have had to have both turbochargers replaced, front differential, both front hub assemblies, both front brake calipers and all for tpms sensors multiple times. Love the looks the ride the comfort but the engine and drive system sucks. Also have never gotten better than 13 mpg - Purchased a Used car

FORD ROCKS
I own a 2015 F150 Lariat with the 5.0. Love every aspect of this truck. That 302 with 3.73 gears is a beast!! Excellent accelelation, towing, and overall comfort. Not having to worry about rusted body panels is another big plus. - Purchased a Used car

Spacious/nice truck...ENGINE FAILURE
I love the style and the room in this truck. Very spacious. Adults fit comfortably in the backseat. However, only opened the truck 2 months (we did buy preowned) but complete engine failure. Now I am stuck paying a truck payment w/ no truck to drive. Hopefully, the extended warranty will cover it but I don't know. I am so heartbroken because I really loved this truck - Purchased a Used car

Best truck I’ve owned
Specifically ordered the truck new and have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the vehicle. Reliable, comfortable and great fuel economy for the 3.5 Ecoboost motor. Towing a large bbq smoker is a breeze. All the electronics and remote features are extremely reliable. I upgraded the lighting to LED last year making night driving much easier. Love this truck for long trips as the comfort level is amazing! Styling is the first year of the newer design which has carried through to subsequent years. It survived a Cat 5 hurricane with minor damage. Paint has held up incredibly well in the Florida sun. It still gets compliments to this day. - Purchased a New car

Very unreliable
I’ve never bothered to write a review on any of the trucks I’ve owned, but I definitely had to write one on this truck. I dismissed the reliability concerns on Ford but wish I didn’t. Only owning this truck a short 3 months, I’ve had constant cyclinder misfires that’d cause the 3.5 engine to stall horribly trying to get up to highway speed. With my wife and child in the truck it was the most frightening moment I’ve ever had driving a truck. As well, the panoramic sunroof cracked and crumbled and was quoted 2.5k for repairing it by the dealership. The back window came down somehow during a storm, when I obviously needed it sealed the most, and caused rain to get into the back seat of the cab. The fuel pump had to be replaced, and last but not least the transmission started shuddering on higher gears. What the xxxx was this hot garbage? Never buying Ford again and INSANELY happy with my Ram limited truck. - Purchased a New car
