Plastic parts next to turbos
100,300 miles and the 2018 RS5 got an oil leak. It cost $6,100 to repair. The shop said Audi used plastic parts next to the turbo which is awful engineering , They tried to find after market metal parts but had to replace with the Audi plastic parts. - Purchased a New car

Adore this car
Went from a 2018 S5 to the 2018 RS5 because I loved the styling and wanted the additional power. The interior of these cars is absolutely fantastic. The MMI system is easy to use and fairly intuitive. Android Auto works very well, and I'm actually really happy that there is no touch screen interface to have to deal with. Seats are very comfortable and controls are easy to find and intuitive. Power is plentiful and immediately available. This car is a ton of fun to drive around. I have seen complaints about the exhaust note; I can understand where that comes from. Even in the most aggressive setting, the sound the car makes is pretty subdued compared to some other cars in this range. It's perfect for me, but some people may want a bit more. In comfort mode the ride can be a bit bouncey where dynamic mode is very rigid and perhaps best kept to track day usage. Comfort mode is just fine for me, but I do think the ride in my S5 was a bit better for day-to-day use. Minor tradeoff, but perhaps worth mentioning. All in all I am extremely happy with this car. It's fun, gorgeous, comfortable, and packed with a ton of tech that works very well. - Purchased a Used car

Daily driver AND a rocket ship
Superlative interior. Very comfortable both in the city and highway in Comfort Mode. It passed the wife test. But put it in Dynamic Mode and everything tightens up and it becomes a track car. Tons of fun. I wanted a performance car that wasn't flashy... it doesn't turn heads like a Ferrari but people will come up to me and ask about it. - Purchased a Used car

One of the most fun to drive cars out there.
I traded 2016 A7 which was great but never made me feel alive. Although I lost a lot of storage room with the RS5 it still fits all my needs and then some. It has beautiful body lines. It looks great from every angle. The interior is gorgeous, controls are in perfect position, everything works well together.? Performance is outstanding, although I do wish you could hear the engine sound better. That said, Overall great car. - Purchased a New car

2018 RS5
If you were to take the best parts of my 2016 Audi S8 plus and combine them with the best parts of my 2017 Corvette Z06, you would get the 2018 Audi RS5. It does everything well with no compromises. Loads of fun to drive. The only other car I "loved" more was when I was 15 and my dad bought a new 1954 Olds 98. He had to drag me out of it or otherwise I would have slept overnight in it. - Purchased a New car
