I have to share my story because we trust the fake
I have to share my story because we trust the fake ratings for vehicles. On July 11, 2024, I was driving a brand new 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid I had leased a month before. I was driving on a 4-lane road in South Florida, going at the speed limit (45 mph), when an irresponsible 25-year-old came out of the parking lot of a shopping center and hit me on the right side of my car. I never saw him. I found out all of this from the accident report. I knew I was involved in an accident because blew up inside, went across all the lanes and ended up against a fence with trees and a private community sign on the other side from where I was hit. Once the car stopped, I got out because I was choking with all the smoke inside. Once thing I noticed was something coming out of my mouth but didn’t know what it was. When I finally got out, there was a woman outside asking me how I was. It happened to be a police officer that has witnessed the whole accident. I was pouring blood out of my mouth and my chest hurt. She helped me and I was taken to a Trauma Center on an ambulance. At the ER I was told I had sustained a fracture to my maxillary bone with loss of several teeth as well as fractured ribs. I asked how that could happened if the accident didn’t happen at a high speed and I had my seat belt on, and the ER doctor told me that my injuries were caused by the airbags in my car. The airbags in my brand-new Hyundai Tucson Hybrid N Series, a 38K+ dollars car, that has the highest ratings, destroyed my face and broke my ribs. Oh yes, they are wonderful until you get involved in an accident. By the way, my car was completely destroyed, and the insurance paid as a total loss and I never recovered the down payment I gave Hyundai for that car. I imagine I would be dead if it happened on a highway at a higher speed. I contacted a couple of law offices specialized in defective airbags and they told me I had no case. I would have to be half dead or dead for them to take my case. It was my second Hyundai but there will be no more HYUNDAIs for me ever. DO NOT TRUST FAKE REVIEWS. Look instead at the mortality rates published for every car. My next car will be a BMW X3 which has never had a death in an accident. - Purchased a New car

A big contributing factor in choosing the Hyundai brand
A big contributing factor in choosing the Hyundai brand was my previous experience with two different Elantra that I had a 2007 and a 2015. Both my mom and sister have driven only the Hyundai brand for the last 20 years or so with good results. My interest in the hybrid vehicle has been around since the Ford Escape came out. In 2021 I finally had the right circumstances to purchase one a Ford Escape. Last year a major recall occurred there was no way to solve the issue. So I traded it in for a 2024 Tucson Hybrid the NLine Trim. Both vehicles are similarly equipped. My only two dislike about the Tucson it lacks a place to store your eye glasses in. The other item is the shift arrangement it’s a push button type thing I prefer a wheel type selector that was in the Escape or the old fashion way. I still have under 2000 miles on the Tucson. Before purchasing it I did some read some of the reviews. Some mention the gasoline mileage as a concern. Comparing the two hybrid vehicles I still fill up once a month and probably get the same amount of gas. My commute is about 20 minutes one way. There seems to be more storage capacity in the Tucson. Both vehicles do not have a spare tire and have that fix a flat type of deal. The back up camera works great both during the day and night. Over all it’s a great vehicle. I would recommend it. - Does recommend this car

Not as advertised!
We bought this car because the window sticker said 37mpg..... 37hwyand 36city. We havent gone past 27mpg on hwy. Nor have gotten e en 30.pg in town. Have had since nov 2023 and has 3200 miles on it. Some small town driving but mostly hwy. This gets the same as my regular 2019 buick. A regular tucson is 26mpg to 32mpg. We are driving speed limit and on a nice day says 27.8 mpg.... No heat or air on. We paid for a hybrid that is not doing its job! Thousands more than the regular tucson. NOT HAPPY! When talk to service depts say have no idea. Dont expect it to get what advertised. No one is helping answer question...Why is the 10mpg off what is advertised on window sticker to sell car? - Purchased a New car
