Used to own this car

bought 450e brand new, after 8000 miles it started throwing high voltage battery errors, luckily mercedes bought it back from me no questions asked, i bet they knew about all those christmas lights !!! they said they have no fix and it's related to the high voltage battery, i now drive a rav4 and very happy with it.

Our new 2024 MB GLE 450e failed us at 5K miles.

Our new 2024 MB GLE 450e failed us at 5K miles. Sudden message: PERFORMANCE EXTREMELY LIMITED with an engine light and sudden engine braking from 55 to 15. Was in service 4 weeks with no resolution. Got car back, and it happened again. Has been in service another 6 weeks, and it is never coming home. Both incidents were near accidents. Car is subject to lemon law. MB is re-purchasing this one and apparently 80-100 others as well. They HAVE NO FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM. Communication was poor between us and MB USA and technicians. Lost all faith in a brand we have been buying for 35 years.
