Car eats oil like it was gasoline.
Car eats oil like it was gasoline. Changed the oil at the regular interval, 2 weeks later it was a quart low. A week after that it was a quart low. It doesn't leak oil... there's so much blow by that it's had a code for the catalytic converter not running at efficiency since 75k miles. Problem is, my wife bought it used so... manufacturer warranty doesn't apply to us. Which makes 0 sense. Either you warranty your craftsmanship or you don't. Shouldn't matter if the car changed hands. - Purchased a Used car

Great for commuting
I originally bought my Optima for Ubering. It did it's job well and has great MPG. For being a base model, it's fairly equipped with a touch screen and bluetooth connection. The engine was reliable and and well-equipped for what I needed it for. Nothing besides regular maintenance was ever required. - Purchased a Used car

One More Dreamer Behind The Wheel.
This document has been formatted to fit your brain’s thinking capacity: It has been shrunk! How’s that for a catchy opening to my 2016 Kia Optima LX review at Edmunds? OK, for starters this has to be world’s most misleading and diminutive review ever printed because it is simply about test driving the specified car right out of and back to the selling dealership in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. Yeah, that’s right my friends and foes, I test drove this car a few hours ago with my wife on the passenger seat up and down US Highway 52 North, inner-city driving, and all the while fooling around with buttons and controls I practically knew nothing about. That was a rush, especially when several State Patrol officers were carefully watching my somewhat erratic “maneuvers” but thankfully they let us go unimpeded. So, what about this car’s appearance, performance, comfort, price / quality ratio and the like? Who cares, right! Let me simply state that during both occasions (interspersed an hour while testing a second and a third vehicle (02 Forte FE / LX models) everything was nearly perfect except when I was fast reducing speed to exit the road but suddenly accelerated to match traffic and I felt a bump from the engine as if it did not know exactly what to do, either coast some more or speed up. This happened very fast; I then tried to replicate the same conditions somewhat to maybe better diagnose the problem but it never reoccurred. Simply put the car’s overall feel is outstanding, with abundant and notable (i.e. very useful) equipment and features galore. I am the world’s greatest copycat artist, designer, and undeclared-non-long-bearded-revolutionary-of-sorts so this particular car fits my wits beyond perfect and with unreal finesse. You want to know what else could be considered a quirk, a nuisance, and / or an undesirable trait within this ride? Well, keep asking, see if that brain finally stretches somewhat; but truthfully I have no answers for any of you. I believe there aren’t any to that idyllic question. Getting the car on the real road world in a couple days after arranging finance; my wife (who inspiringly made the decision to buy it) is also going to enjoy this little, friendly beast. They routinely say the world is filling with idiots fast; luckily, my pitiful understanding of society’s moronic situation and perceived woes should also help in this murky area: And why not, the more idiots out there, the greater chances to step up in this barren world of ours and beyond… It’s a dichotomy worth living ad infinitum, if we may. - Purchased a Used car

Absolutely love my optima
The first car I test drove was a used 2017 optima extremely low mileage. And I absolutely fell in love! Ever roomy, smooth and quiet, and a classy sporty style. Since purchasing in July ‘19 I have test drove a couple of ‘20 and I was so disappointed I didn’t even leave the lot. They just didn’t compare. Needles to say this is hands down my new favorite car! - Purchased a Used car

I was very surprised at the quality of this car.
This care met all my expectations and needs. I traded in a 2008 Cadillac. This KIA far exceeded the quality of the Cadillac. No more GM products fro me and I have been a GM buyer for over 50 years. Counting myself and my 3 sons there are 5 Kia owners. - Purchased a New car

Regret buying this car
I bought my kia 2.4l fe used with 22k. I didn't make my firts payment before the engine went out! I have to admit KIA did step up gave me a new engine as well as lifetime warranty and a rental vehicle while mine was in the shop. Another problem is that the trim pieces are falling off, and i baby this car. - Purchased a Used car
