My wife owns a 2012 Subaru Outback only 13 years old
My wife owns a 2012 Subaru Outback only 13 years old 83690 miles & the engine sub-frame cradle in the front is rotted out. It was under coated when new. This is premature rotting of inferior steel a safety issue, especially being that it was rustproofed new. And that it has low mileage. This should of had a recall on this item for safety reasons being the sub- frame should last the life of the car.

Great car. Best Subaru I’ve owned EVER
Owned this car since I ordered it new. Limited trim was worth it! At 167,000 miles I have only done routine maintenance. Synthetic Mobil 1 since I got it. Original front brakes, rears replaced only once. Solid, great mpg always. Rated at 22/29 and I routinely exceeed both by 2-3 mpg. Great in snow! CVT has NEVER given me any issues. I’ve towed boats and trailers within the 2700# specified limit without a concern. This car has been a tank and still looks like new. Paint is great, no rust or plastic degradation at all.
