I purchase the 2022 mercedes S580 brand new in November
I purchase the 2022 mercedes S580 brand new in November 2022. We have had more problems with the new car than if it was a used one. The tires look nice one it but to find out they are not rated for this vehicle. Secondly we have had several flats and when this happened you must go through calling a tow service to get it to the nearest Mercedes repair shop to order a replacement if there is not one in stock of course you have to either stay over night or days waiting for a replacement tire if you’re miles away from if Mercedes does not have a loaner car? There has been so many recalls that I have lost count. Right at this moment it is in for the engine light coming on and the replacement of the thermostat needs replacing. This car is only 3 years 5 months old?? - Purchased a New car

Be careful what you ask for.
Absolutely the worst new car experience I've ever had - and I've had plenty. Overwhelming electronic nannies, fussy controls meant for the hands of small children and impossible to distinguish a true malfunction from some unknown 'safety feature' intervention. Zero support from the dealer nor from MBUSA. Love my new Maserati Quattroporte Trofeo. - Purchased a New car

A Wonderful Overall Experience
I just picked up my S580 Lux-Line in Emerald Green over Sienna Brown, and I am absolutely thrilled with the purchase. I have owned five S-Class models since 2010, including this new one, and I can say this is the best iteration yet from an overall perspective. While I still think the W222 was the best-looking (especially my 2019 S560 with the refreshed look and AMG pack), this new one does not disappoint at all. The Emerald Green is stunning in the sunlight, my favorite color yet. And the interior is on another level from a luxury and tech standpoint. I loved the interiors of all the S-Class models I've owned, but this current one is my favorite. The seats are super supportive, and the vast amount of tech is amazing. The new infotainment screen takes time to learn and get used to, but I feel the "Hey, Mercedes" function makes doing small things like putting in a Navigation request easier than going through the main screen. From a driving perspective, the ride is the best yet, just like gliding on a cloud. I've been lucky to have driven Bentley's and Rolls-Royce's in my lifetime, and this ride is as close as I've seen the S-Class come to being even with those vehicles on this front. And, the V8 is plenty punchy when needed, so it can be a fun vehicle to take on windy roads if you so desire. Overall, a wonderful vehicle and a bargain when you compare it to the other super-luxury vehicles on sale. I'm looking forward to the next few years of owning such an awesome car. - Purchased a New car
