I've had my car for a while, and the only real issue is
I've had my car for a while, and the only real issue is that it consumes or leaks engine oil slowly. I change the oil every 3,000 miles, and with that routine, it's been fine. The car now has 140,000 miles and still runs great—thanks to God. I once switched to synthetic oil and drove 5,000 miles between changes, but all the oil was gone by then. Since sticking to 3,000-mile oil changes, I haven't even needed to check the oil level regularly. Aside from this minor issue, the car is reliable and has served me well. - Purchased a Used car

Uses oil only 114,000 miles and one thing after another is failing . I've owned a 93 Camry LE 98 Camry LE 20001 Solara none used any oil or was problematic except for this 2009 Camry LE . - Purchased a Used car

Good car bad A/C
The only thing I did not like it is the quality of the A/C. To replace the evaporator, you have to remove the dash complety, and couple of years later the compressor, failed - Purchased a Used car

My 2009 Toyota Camry caught fire & totally burned.
I bought a used 2009 Toyota Camry back in June of 2022. Everything seemed alright and it drove me from California to Arkansas where I moved. I have the vehicle lubed a number of times, wheels rotated, and engine checked, but when I drove it out to have dinner, a three mile drive, it literally burned up into a huge fire and is a total loss now. I've only had the car for 6 or seven months and thought I'd own this nice little car for yers to come. But, that is just not so. I wish I could provide you with a picture because this beauty just blew up like in the movies. I'm very disappointed in Toyota's now. - Purchased a Used car

My 2009 Camry has 220K miles, and while I understand that is a lot. The issues it has had have been expensive and ridiculous. Despite the issues it has had, It runs good and gets me everywhere I need to go, in a comfortable way. - Purchased a Used car

Great car
Legroom, large trunk space, good gas mileage , a really smooth riding car to drive. Toyota’s have a good reputation for running a lot of miles so I’m hoping that adds to the value - Purchased a Used car

Buyer Beware
The 2009 Camry had an oil consumption manufacturing problem which Toyota did not correct. I have been told by an owner that this problem also exists for 2010 models. I would have recommended this vehicle, if it had not been for this problem. - Purchased a Used car

Only Toyota I've owned that uses oil !!
I've owned a 90 Camry I got over 300000 miles when frame rusted out and a 1986 Corolla with the same reliability until frame rusted out.But this 09 Camry I bought started drinking oil at 140000 miles about a quart every 800 hundred miles!!Definety not the same as the others I owned, and truly loved ! Toyota is aware of this issue with the 07 thru 09 3azfe engine and should be on a recall a.I still owe for this one can't afford to get rid of it ? It's prefect every were else interior to ride and appearance!! Maintenance is religious and 140000 miles on a toyota isn't high mileage! - Purchased a Used car
