This 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Vantage Sports Saloon is a matching numbers example just out of an extensive private collection. Factory Left-Hand Drive and 5-speed manual gearbox. Mechanically sound, this desirable high-performance Vantage model runs and drives well. A very presentable driver with good paint and chrome. The interior also showcases the perfect amount of patina. Chassis DB6/2871/L was originally finished in Dubonnet with Black interior. The accompanying build sheet records the Vantage Engine, Chrome wheels, Normalair air conditioning, limited slip differential and numerous other options. The agent listed is B.M.C.D (British Motor Car Distributors) who distributed Aston Martins in the USA. Considered by many to be the last 'real' Aston Martin, the DB6 was launched in 1965, updating the DB5. In Vantage trim, the DB6 could accelerate from 0-60mph in 6.0 seconds, 0-100mph in 14.9 and reach a top speed of 152mph (244km/h) making it one of the fastest cars in the world.
