Time will tell, but I like the Maverick CLT the first 1000 miles. However, when you get your Ford parts do not go the Ford Accessories website, go to FordParts.com since this links you order directly to the dealer who can track your order back to the warehouse and Ford (and you can still redeem/earn points. Ford Accessories is HORRIBLE, they don’t provide stays or tracking, just vague updates like “Processing” or “in Transit to Dealer” which means it is still 20 DAYS out, if you’re lucky!!! It soo long for my Bedliner (25 days), the order timed-out and was cancelled by their system due to backorder??? after I was just told it was shipping in the next 5 days (30 total to just ship). I was told to reorder, but I called since I already had an open customer service case, and they said they didn’t have a date for the backorder to give??? I called the dealer through “FordParts.com” and they told me the Ford backorder status. Love the truck but Ford Accessories is horrible and need some lessons from Amazon or EBay or any other even amateur e-commerce…they are HORRIBLE with a TRAIN WRECK for a system (executives and managers responsible for this system should be FIRED immediately and start over. All happy with my new Ford truck! And then spend the next month (and counting waiting for accessories with no clear status or tracking available…Ugggh. If you are thinking it is just me, it is not. Hopefully, your experience is better, but I doubt it.

After many decades of driving all types of cars and pickups I have rediscovered having fun driving. Since my 64 Impala I look forward to getting in my Maverick Lobo and driving somewhere. I have been getting comments from strangers on how nice it looks. Also the performance is much different than i expected.

I had a lovely, thorough review, but Cars.com isn't interested me in being thorough, probably why they are asking for a review after only three weeks with the car. So instead I'll say that it has had an issue with not working with the FordPass app the way it is supposed to - no huge surprise, Ford has led the industry in recalls and other QC issues for several years now. I like the truck generally and feel it was a decent value, but not a steal. It meets my needs.
