The Secret is OUT--Nissan LEAFs ROCK!
After owning many Nissan LEAFs over the years (Canadians kept buying them from me), the newer body style in 2018 release was a total winner. Better looking and the ride is definitely more refined, and our 2022 is flawless. These cars are the best kept secret in motoring. They are a HUGE value, and would be a great only car, but in almost all instances, the PERFECT second vehicle. They cost almost nothing to drive and maintain, and the insurance is also very reasonable. - Purchased a New car

EV is way to go
I purchased a new 2019 Nissan Leaf SL Plus in 2019. As of June 30, I have done zero maintenance other than rotate the tires. The vehicle has exceeded all of my expectations. I will never purchase another passenger vehicle with a gasoline engine. EV is to way to go... - Purchased a New car

Excellent City/Commuter Vehicle.
We leased a Nissan Leaf in 2013 and again in 2020. They were almost giving them away in 2020 since gasoline was $2 under Trump's watch. We got ours for $149 a month, zero down, no other fees. We really like the Leaf. Excellent commuter and City car. The company I work for has free L2 chargers so it's a win-win. Car is quiet, solid, and no squeaks or rattles. - Purchased a New car

Good choice for low-cost entry into EV world
The car has exactly what I wanted which is environmental friendliness, low purchase cost (with gov't rebates), low fuel cost, and minimal maintenance requirements. I don't recommend it for long trips because CHAdeMO DCFC is obsolete, but I rely almost exclusively on home recharging. I think the S+ is the best choice because it has the longest range and it lacks driver assistance, which I believe is too immature as a technology. - Purchased a New car

Good value if it doesn't break
Got my first major breakdown fix at the dealership with the help of Gary, he was responsive during the whole process as it has been there for a month. By the time we pick up the car, Gary discuss the complexity of fixing along with how many things have to be change to get it moving again, we were eager to get a price if we were to sell it, sad to say price was astonishingly low, guess LEAFS doesn't hold much value even when gas prices are high. Please be aware of scratches and dents from the dealership, take pictures because they are not willing to stand up for those, discuss later in the review. We got some more trouble a 2nd time with starting the car and charging at some Chadmo chargers. We have it tow, they weren't able to figure out the problem so we pick up the car today, discussing with Gary the touch up is done. Please see attached photos of their touch up job, seems like a kid put some paint and call it done. I ask nicely what can they do about this, seems scratches and dent created at the dealership is not their problem but the consumers, by his words, it's not our problem but yours, you can contact customer service at Nissan to complaint about this matter. cargo room practicality is very reasonable with big trunk and folding seats; the seats aren't as comfortable compare to some other Japanese brands, the on board infotainment screen is unresponsive and laggy; Apple Carplay is hit or miss; (!!Per dealership serviceman: There are no fixes; simply don't use Carplay will be the fix!!), compare to some other new EV in the market; everything seems lacking. Overall: if you just want to save gas and get some good incentives; this will satisfy that aspect; if you are looking for more; I don't recommend the Leaf or Nissan with my current experience. - Purchased a New car
