BEWARE buyers at Malloy Chevy in Alexandria VA! Criminal approach to selling cars. Spent a day texting about a specific vehicle listed for $21,900. Settled on a price of $23,500 after being crystal clear on what was and was not included. So I go in to buy. Jonathan B was nice enough and then the dandy appears dressed in a fancy suit and informs the offer was unauthorized. And so on, ie a fake dispute between the two. I was there for five hours and finally paid $1500 more than I planned to because I was simply exhausted. I had a physical check from my credit union to pay for the car yet they ran an unauthorized hard pull on my credit and then the finance guy claimed he knew nothing and thought I needed financing and gave me a hard sell on dealership financing.I got an email from a credit bureau that my credit score had declined because of this. I’ve spent three days asking them to reverse that hard pull and just keep getting the run around. Still not resolved. Don’t believe any response they might make to this review. It’s all xx. Caveat Emptor. - Purchased a New car

Very sporty looking, economical and fun to drive car
Very sporty looking, economical and fun to drive car without breaking the bank. It’s is my second one sold 2024 model after driving 40k never given me trouble. Exterior and interior is next level you won’t get bored of. Don’t get fooled with the 3 cylinder I don’t even realize how quick it hits 150 kmph on hi-way. I figured with high octane gas it’s even faster you can think of. Hope this helps. - Purchased a New car

I purchased a 2025 Trax RS and thus far I really love it . The redesigned look is very sporty. Sure it doesn’t have a ton of fancy features like my suburban but I was looking for a second car good on gas and convenient to drive . It is very nice on inside and plenty of room . - Purchased a New car

I purchase my Chevy Trax in Sept2024. And it’s been in the shop back and forward since Dec2024 till now! This is a horribly made car. I have transmission issue, back camera gone out, speakers not working , dome light electric problems, car cuts off while driving , alternor gone out. I wish I would have never purchased this car. Well let's start with my 1st check engine light-purge
Well let's start with my 1st check engine light-purge pump going at only 4000 miles. Dealership replaced purge pump. Then we will jump to the back up camera not working and being replaced at 5300 miles. Dealership replaced back up camera. Fast forward to 7000 miles- radio no longer works and my phone will not connect. Dealership-updated radio. 10,000 miles- now once again the radio does not work and the car will not connect to my phone. Dealership replacing radio. Bottom line is do not buy this vehicle. I bought it bc it was what I could afford. Biggest mistake of my life!! I Will never buy another chevy again. Dealership will only go as far as warranty to help you. And I was told I could call GM, but they would tell me there was nothing they could do for me by the dealership. I explained I was losing money at work to have to continuously bring the car back to keep getting fixed. The gentleman at the dealership shrugged his shoulders and said sorry. Please be smart and don't buy this vehicle!! - Purchased a New car

It’s ok for the price but I’m just not really impressed
It’s ok for the price but I’m just not really impressed with it. It would probably be ideal for a teenager or college student. It’s not that comfortable and I’m used to AWD so performance wise I’m not impressed. It basically is a 4 door Camaro to me but with a lot of great safety features. Not having an automatic lift gate or even a trunk button at all was extremely disappointing for me. - Purchased a New car

My wife and I each drove a 2021 Chevy Trax - hers was white and mine was blue - and the dealer called us to see if we'd be interested in trading up. I drove to the dealership and test drove the new 2025 Trax while they did their appraisal on my car. The new Trax was such an overall improvement compared to the 2021 that, not only did I make the trade on my car, my wife was so impressed that she sent me back to the dealership to make the same deal on hers as well! - Purchased a New car
