Love this car!
Love this car! This is our 2nd Traverse. My wife loves it. I have 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. We will definitely be looking for our 3rd one. It has the most room of all SUV in its classs. The v-6 has very good power with lots of pickup. - Purchased a Used car

2023 Traverse LS
We have only had it a few days , Initial impression is good . Very comfortable to ride in and this is only the LS version . Probably the only midsize SUV with a V6 that you can still get for $33000 . V6 runs well , can't speak to the mileage yet as it isnt even broken in yet but should get 27-28 mpg out on the highway with a 9 speed auto . As of right now it shifts well . Really like the two tone interior . Has soft touch vinyl . Probably a few. spots on doors where the vinyl is a little hard and looks a little cheap it does not bother me . Exterior wise I like the LED headlights which seem to work well enough . Also like the LED DRL's which turn amber when you put the signal lights on . also has LED taillights and reverse lamps . Interior had LED reading lamps and interior lamps . The auto stop/start has a button to turn it off . This was a must for me . A deal breaker if it did not have it . It is down next to the shifter . The seats on mine are cloth , very nice lighter tan and the cloth is very tough material which should not wear out . Very happy with them and they are reasonably comfortable . The second row will recline a little though not as much as the first row . The second row is a bench type seat as this the LS version which is the cheapest one . Even this version has Blind spot and lane departure warnings, accident avoidance system,Lane keep assist Rear cross traffic alert . These aren't something I really wanted and will actually probably turn them off as I don't need the car manuvering the car on it's own . As far as long term reliability only time will tell . Initailly I see no issues with the car and everything seems to work though I havent really gone thru all features yet , I hope to get 10 years and 150000 miles out of this without a lot of trouble . Don't let me down Chevy . - Purchased a New car

Good car with a poor aftermarket
Nice car with a smooth drive, interior and some items could be improved when talking about a Premier version, as the back seat of drivers side does not lift for a 3 row passenger to get in. The one I bought unfortunately the rear camera and parking system was not working after a week, which I took to dealership for a warranty review, a new system was ordered, but so far it has not arrived yet after almost a month after and I still not have a date to when it will be fixed. - Purchased a New car

Traverse over any other SUV
What a nice smooth ride the Traverse gives you. Looks good, sounds good and has enough power to pull what I need. The look and technology are awesome. Be careful when you first drive it, it’s smooth enough to get you a ticket. If you’re thinking of an Explorer, go drive the 2 and 10 out of 10 times you’ll pick the Traverse. - Purchased a New car

My Traverse I wish I still had!
I drove a 2011 Chevrolet Travers and in 2018 decided I wanted a car. Sooo I figured I’d trade it in and what a mistake that was my family then grew again and we are very much needing to up size again. My Traverse rode very good. I had lots of people tell me how much they loved the room that a Traverse offered I also liked that. The ride was very smooth and just very much comfortable. So I’d like to go back to a Traverse and stick with it. I’m retired and ready to travel some. So I’d like to go in comfort. - Purchased a Used car

Perfect family SUV
I honestly do not know where to start. There are so many wonderful attributes the Traverse has that it is tough to write a short review. We are coming out of 4 Fifth Generation Ford Explorers. We would have kept our 2019 [the last year of the 5th Gen], but there were long term concerns with the internal water pump inside the otherwise bulletproof 3.5L V6 and the AWD PTU. Looking around, there were few Naturally Aspirated V6 3-row SUV’s [6 including the Traverse]. What set the Traverse apart is/was the cargo capacity, the functionality of all 3 rows, the performance of the V6, the efficiency of the V6, the easy access to the 3rd row, the ability to get heated cloth seats which typically hold-up better than leather, the ability to get easy to use tech in lower-end trims, controls without over reliance on screens, the available tow package, and the thick/wide tires that create an unbelievably comfortable ride. All the aspects of the 5th Gen Explorer we get with the Traverse and then some. The AWD is a bit different in that you dial to AWD like an older 4WD vehicle. In some ways that is annoying as it takes an extra step to achieve AWD. However, the vehicle gets better MPG in 2WD and there is less concern having the AWD PTU spinning constantly saving wear and tear. We are averaging nearly 30 MPG with our 2023 Traverse. We appreciate being able to drive 600+ miles given the massive 21.7 gallon tank. The auto stop-start, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise are all controllable features. If you want them, they are there, if you don’t, you can shut them off. The forward collision sensitivity can be adjusted. The universal garage remote works well. The rear underfloor storage compartment is something we use often. We did not expect to be in a 2023 Traverse, but the reduction in SUV’s with features we covet, we decided to trade-in our beloved 5th Gen Explorer. But we are extremely pleased that we did. Speaking of which, if you are deciding on a 2023 Traverse or waiting for the 2024, be aware that the 2024’s will have a new transmission and a turbo 4-cylinder engine with both stop-start and cylinder deactivation. Meaning a certain points, you will have only 2 cylinders powering a 6,000+ lbs vehicle. We were not confident that all would be a good combination, so the 2023 was an easy choice. - Purchased a New car

Don’t buy RED!
I recommend the car but DONOT get the Cajun red! I have dings all over the front and side of the car that go through to the base. I have questioned the dealership and been told it was a GM issue. Whether they didn’t put enough seal coat or what just that they have had lots of complaints about the red. My friend was told by one employee it was in the design. - Purchased a New car

Loving the space
So far loving my new car! The app is a little iffy on working but the car it’s self is exactly what I needed! The price tag is HIGH! But with planning on driving this car for the next 8-10 years hopefully it’s worth it! We are planning our family driving trip to Disney in it now! - Purchased a New car
