My experience and expectations of the car is far from
My experience and expectations of the car is far from achieving a five star rating. Air mask sensor feel I have changed out atleast 4 time already since i got this car back in 2020 .I also been replacing several other sensors some have been changed multiple times which is ridiculous. I have always own chevy, but this is the worst chevy malibu I ever owned - Purchased a Used car

Think twice before buy a Malibu
First year of having my Malibu 2017 Malibu the computer went out, had to buy a new computer system, then throttle body worked on three times, stalls a little bit. They want to put check the fuel line, check the throttle each time very costly. When you let windows down horrifying noise, noise, they say it’s because of the way the body is made. - Purchased a New car

Wanted this car so bad, now disappointed w/quality
less than 18,000 miles and the transmission went out. specifically reverse. And while that is the worst problem it has had I'm not happy that the letters were falling off when it was less than 2 years old and the paint job has totally faded in 5 years looking like a car 10 years or older. I have tried almost everything I can think to make it look better short of a new paint job! - Purchased a New car

2017 Chevy Malibu
Over all car is great. I’ve taken it on long trips. To get past the auto stop. Put the car in L and go to 6. It takes some time getting used to ,but it works. By doing this you will save your battery and starter. Car looks awesome detailed too. I get about 28 miles on the highway and around 26 in city. It’s reliable. - Purchased a Used car

Bad car
This car is horrible. With less than 50,000 miles on it. The shifting lever light keeps coming on and saying shift into park when I shift into park. It takes up to 6 times of starting and shutting off to get it to go off. Afraid to drive this car because of not always being in park. This started within less than 30 days of purchase. The touch screen was frozen at purchase. Germain Honda of Naples Fl. would not fix these problems. From what I read the shifting problem is common in the Malibu. Unsafe Chevrolet. No ownership of problem.
Will not go into park. I have 16000 miles on a new 2017 Malibu and it cannot be shut off. Everyone knows about but no one will do anything about it. Very dangerous!!! Very poor purchase. - Purchased a New car

Chevy are Lemons today.
I bought a Chevy Malibu 2017 in 2017. The car has had nothing but problems. From the engine module to gasoline Full ups transmission. Now they bought the vacuum pumps from China they are aftermarket Quality made with A cheap metal to where pieces break off when they go bad and you put your brakes on you’ll have no brakes then the pieces break off and go into the cam and into the motor sucks up into it because they designed it to be there. To where your motor Caesars and your chain jumps timing. This happened to me I reached out to the owner Erica Barlow at Barlow and Manahawkin and she never called you back I called GMC and they said they’re not doing anything there’s hundreds and hundreds of people right in the area that have the same issue. How many people have to get killed before they fix anything. How did they not have a recall ? - Purchased a New car

They need too do a recall order on all the malibus and there engine power loss that slows the car down cause all of them do it - Purchased a New car
