Worst truck I’ve ever owned.

Worst truck I’ve ever owned. Should have bought a ford!! GM customer care is a joke. Dealership seems like no help either. Let’s start from the beginning. My 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD duramax had the transmission valve body go out coming down a pass from camping about June 23rd. Took it to the dealership next day and found out the transmission valve body needs to be replaced, bad news parts on back order could take three months. Called multiple times to dealership and to customer care only to be told no eta for the part. Fast forward almost two months and I call in and customer care tells me my part has shipped and to call the dealership and let them know it shipped. Called the dealership. They looked into it and said that GM has cancelled all back order transmission valve body requests, they issued a new service bulletin to rebuild the valve body with new components. At this point I’m confused and very frustrated. Keep calling to get answers from customer care and they swear it says shipped but can’t give me a tracking number. One person says it’s over nighted via air another person says it’ll take 7-10 days to get to the dealership all while the dealership is saying that it is cancelled. Well the parts they need to rebuild my valve body it takes 10 parts/components the dealership has six of them but the other four are on back order with no eta on when they will be available. Called again today and was told my case was closed do to the part being shipped. The best part is that the timer for the parts on back order has now been restarted so I’m at day 1 of a possible three month wait. This is absolutely ridiculous. The people I call at customer care aren’t the same ones that the dealership calls and as a customer we aren’t allowed to call the dealership contact for parts. At this point I wish I knew a way to hold GM responsible for this cause never in all my life have I had this big of an issue with customer service, customer satisfaction or with a vehicle. Recommendation is buy anything other than a Chevrolet or a GMC. Stay far away from them.

Love of my life

The most reliable truck you can ever put your money on. Don’t even bother thinking about comparing it with Dodge or Ford. Most reliable engine, zero electrical issues, minimal maintenance and smoothest ride. Love every single bit of my boy…

Excellent truck
