Disappointing Experience with the 2022 BMW 5 Series The 2022 BMW 5 Series, often hailed for its luxury and performance, fails to deliver on multiple fronts. The interior materials feel cheap and poorly assembled, with noticeable squeaks and rattles. The iDrive infotainment system is unintuitive and plagued by connectivity issues. Driving dynamics are lackluster; the steering is numb, and the ride is uncomfortably stiff. Reliability has been a major concern, with frequent electrical and transmission issues. Additionally, the fuel efficiency is disappointing, far below the advertised figures. Overall, the 2022 BMW 5 Series does not offer the value expected from a luxury sedan of its class.

This is an excellent car. I was surprised by the acceleration of the electric motor when driving in the electric mode. The transition between the electric motor and the gasoline engine is seamless. This is a great car and it has exceeded my expectations. I ony have to go to the gas station about once a month. Over 60 percent of my driving is on the electric motor.

I bought a brand new BMW 530e 2021 last year. It has been a year now. The car is falling a part like a crazy! Sunroof creaks the entire time, driver door creaks " produces a high sound like if something is not in place!" with every little street pump. The front ambient lighting is almost off, and some other multiple creaking sounds coming from all over the car. It feels like driving a very old cheap car. Never mentioning the idrive that freezes every couple of days and stops taking ANY orders and I have to reset which extremely annoying. It is a brand NEW car. My god BMW! I should say though, the performance is BIG LOVE! this thing is a beast especially when on extraboost.
