2021 LT Trail Boss has great styling, powerful engines,
2021 LT Trail Boss has great styling, powerful engines, and tons of technology in a great package. A commanding view of the road, a nice comfortable interior, amazing Bose Stereo system, tons of storage and tons of space for adults in the crew cab. But there are issues, side mirrors are too small, harsher ride (which I expected), and DFM, GDI engines, and questions on the 10 speed transmissions. I recommend disabling DFM ASAP or using the L9 trick to overide the system, to help prolong the life of the engines from lifter failure. Mine is under warranty for another 18K miles, if it acts up at all its into the dealership for warranty service. - Purchased a Used car

I have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado LT since the warranty
I have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado LT since the warranty has expired and the vehicle is over 60, 000 miles I have had nothing but problems with my truck. I barely drive my vehicle, I work from home and it sits up the majority of the time the miles are highway miles. My truck has been in shop 3 times for repairs. The dealership ( Galleria Chevrolet) does not want offer a loaner or rental vehicle unless the repairs are covered under warranty. There have been several recalls regarding the Silverado and GM and the dealership are aware, but they try to sweep things under the rug and don’t tell consumers because they don’t want to pay for the repairs. GM and the Chevrolet dealership are trash, they are not supportive of their brand. American made cars are poorly manufactured and we pay the price for it. I will never support or purchase anther GM product nor Chevrolet dealerships. - Purchased a New car

I have had the 2021 Silverado LT 5.
I have had the 2021 Silverado LT 5.3 for about four or five months now and have put about 5k miles on it. I purchased used and right away had problems with the tire sensors. If you have a problem with these trucks they will likely shut off multiple computers within the truck (abs, TC, etc are all connected, all will shut off simultaneously). Fixed that and a couple of months later had throttle control issues. Truck would randomly rev up a few hundred rpm’s every 3-5 seconds while holding steady throttle. Went to get it fixed and nothing is covered under chevys warranty for any of these parts. Due to the throttle control issues the truck had carbon build up and caused speed sensor failure. Major computer issues with the trucks and all are very costly. AFM systems in these trucks cause issues. An eight cylinder is supposed to be an eight cylinder. Don’t try to make it a 4 banger Chevy. - Purchased a Used car

Both engine and transmission are complete junk.
Both engine and transmission are complete junk. If you want to buy a new engine every 40-50K miles then this is your truck. Too much technology added to these vehicles has killed reliability. On the plus side, they still look great. I love the look of Chevy trucks so it pains me to have to move to another brand now. - Does not recommend this car

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. I have a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado RST 4x4 with only 16,000 miles brand new off the lot in 2021. The solenoid control valve in the transmission went out 02/19/2024. I had to have it towed to the dealership. General Motors Warranty has yet to reimburse me for my tow bill. The vehicle has been setting at the dealership ever since. They claim they can't get the parts to fix my vehicle. My family has owned Chevrolet's for the last 50 years but this will be the last. I contacted GM for a buy back or swap and that was denied. I am basically paying payments and full coverage insurance on a vehicle I can't even drive. I am so disgusted with Chevrolet and GM. Trade not an option due to vehicle is inoperable they don't want to give anything for it. - Does not recommend this car

Beauty Truck
I drove a '99 Silverado Standard Cab 6 cyl for 24 years & decided it was time. I flirted with Ram & Tundra but when it came down to it, I've got Chevy in my blood & found what I think is a special vehicle. I'm still learning, lots of buttons, bells & whistles but think I'm gonna love this truck. It's big, real big, you have to plan for some driving/parking experiences ahead of time because it can't do what a single cab did. Would have preferred the 5.3 but ended up with a 6.2 but wow, power on demand, this baby moves. No need to worry about passing granny anymore. - Purchased a Used car

1st truck in 20 years.
My Silverado runs and drives perfectly. My only complaint is the paint job. Every week when I clean the truck I find new nicks in the paint. Almost like there's no primer. I'm concerned about resale value because no matter how careful I am and I'm an older driver, paint is getting worse every day. - Purchased a Used car

2021 TB LT 5.3L L84
5.3L, 18,000 miles, 2021 TB LT and have had no real issues. Ebrake triggered a warning message which was reset 1,000 miles ago no warning light since. MPG is decent but if you like to drive a vehicle it will be 13-14mpg. Wish the exhaust made real noise and GM loves thier 33's, come on 35s look fantastic. I had a 2017 LT Z71 5.3L L82 and had no issues at 65,000 miles when I traded her in. - Purchased a New car

DEF found in diesel fuel tank in my new truck
I love my new 2021 Chevrolet high country truck except for the location of Def and Diesel that they are located in the same compartment without any lids to identify the 2, for some strange reason l got Def in my diesel, the insurance company will not pay for this so it’s costing me over $13,0000 out of my own pocket to get fixed and keep the warranty good still. Chevrolet needs to be responsible for this. If this is such a problem that can happen to anyone at anytime. They need to separate the def and the diesel from the same location so that it can not accidentally put DEF into the diesel spout or if someone comes along and puts DEF into your diesel and your insurance will not cover the repairs as they blame you. To fix this huge mistake, Chevrolet will have to correct this by installing locking cover over the spout like most vehicles have and put a fuel cap back on, move the DEF back under the hood in a accessible area. I am saddened by all of this and the cast of all this has set me back as l am only surviving day by day due to all the rising costs today. Hope Chevrolet reads this and others that could potential have this happen to them. My new truck will never be the same again. One more thing to add, the mechanic mentioned that this was the 7 th Chevrolet truck that this happened to this year alone. - Purchased a New car
