Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this 1977 Lincoln Mark V. In the 1970s, a luxury car was all about presence. With gas costing just a few dimes per gallon, an expanding network of interstate highways, and a surviving obsession with cubic inches, this Lincoln is the epitome of 1970s American excess. With a body totaling nearly 20 feet long, and a hood about the size of a queen-sized mattress, there is no shortage of... car. Pop that massive hood and youll uncover a 400 CID V8 which is more than capable of pulling this land yacht down the highway in style and comfort. The transmission is of course and automatic, and power everything (nearly) leaves the driver in control, yet completely relaxed. This is the type of car you can steer with one finger. This particular Mark V sports a Cream exterior with a Yellow landau top. The interior features Yellow upholstery to match as well as some white accent inserts for a little contrast. The car is in good surviving condition and has only 44,847 miles showing on the odometer. The car runs and drives as it should and would make a nice first collector car for someone, or a nice stylish daily driver which still has most of the modern creature comforts weve come to expect. The Lincoln Mark III is one of the finest classic American luxury car in design, performance and collectibility. It has got the big 460 V-8 and drives powerfully smooth. The style is artful and in fact Elvis owned one. The Mark III is the most affordable collectible out there today with the prospect of rising in value because of its attributes.
