(rock music) <v Announcer>Cars.com auto review. Hi, I'm Stephen Markley. And I'm Lindsay Bjerregaard. We're here today at the Taste of Chicago. And we're finding out what one feature people think cars are missing today.
If you could see any new feature in a car that hasn't been invented yet, what would you like to see? A portable coffee maker. I don't know, some sort of, you know, cappuccino maker, coffee machine, that would be good. Ejector seats, definitely. Different sounding horns. That sound cool, yeah. A bathroom. (woman laughs) I like it. Toilet seats. Ooh, a water fountain. Refrigerator. That's bad, why we both say something about food? How about a machine gun turret? Ooh, like I'd like something, if you wanted to write a message to the guy in the car next to you, like, you have, like, a whiteboard or dry erase board. Ooh, how about like a- A texting pad, like on your steering wheel, that's connected to your cell phone so that like, you don't have to text, like, you know, get distracted. It'll be like right there. No, I love it, so you can hit on people in other cars more easily, yeah. That's great. Normally I'm just throwing things at them from my window, so. I'd like to see them go underwater. Well, really, uh. (man laughs) I've got two cars right now and I don't know if I'm going to need another car. I'm 80 years old. <v Wife>That's not the question! I got a Lexus and she's got a Mercedes. So you're trying to get ideas from us so you can patent them. Is that what it is? That is my entire plan, yeah. She's got that sport Mercedes and I got a big Lexus. What features would you like to see on them, if you had to, what would make your life easier? Okay, she wanted, but they didn't have it on the one she wanted, that backup parking. Autopilot. Wireless internet and TV. Flying. Especially I think more accidents happen in parking lots than any other place, you know. I guess space travel, you know, light speed, like space travel. Knickknack, knickknack. The paint that changes colors. And I'd also like to see one that's made that recharges itself as you drive. I want a car that can drive itself on the highway. Okay. A bar. A bar? A bar in a car will be a good idea. Okay. The ability to hover over traffic. Flotation devices. In case you drive your car off a bridge? Yeah, exactly. Maybe, like, light up seats. Light up seats, okay. I'd like to see a seat cooler. I love the seat warmer. They do? (Stephen laughs) It's already there. They've come up with something better? Shot down. Well, automakers, there you have it, some ideas to get working on. But now, I think it's time to go get Stephen some cheesecake before he throws another tantrum. Lindsay, I want to go! <v Announcer>For more car related news, go to Cars.com or our blog, KickingTires.net.
