(upbeat music) Making the decision to purchase a minivan is an important one. After all, it's carrying the most important cargo, your family. But aren't all minivans the same? <v Kristin>Well, we're looking at six completely redesigned ones for 2011 and we'll help you choose the right one for your family. One of the biggest benefits to minivans is how flexible the cargo area is, and the seating area. Do you need an expanding second row seats for child safety seats or broad shouldered teens like the 2011 Odyssey has, or tailgating seats in the rear for football games? Maybe you haul lots of DIY projects and need easy folding seats to expand the cargo area. Or maybe you need Uber comfy lounge like chairs for the brood to stretch out in, as in the Sienna, Minivans are like home on wheels for many of us and advanced entertainment features might be important to you and your family. They can vary quite a bit from one minivan to the next. Your family might be impressed with three DVD screens and serious backseat TV, such as in the Chrysler Town and Country, or a widescreen DVD and HDMI input like the Honda Odyssey. Mini vans are large, there's no arguing with that, so we can really use all the help we can get when it comes to safely maneuvering one. Look for the combination of technologies that resonates best with you and your family. Front and rear parks sensors, such as in the Odyssey, backup cameras with two views like the Odyssey and the Toyota Sienna, or cross path detection such as in the Town and Country. Check on Cars.com to find out which minivan our experts and our family deem to be the best. <v Announcer>For more car related news, go to cars.com or our blog KickingTires.net.
