We are here at the 2023 Detroit Auto Show checking out the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 sedan, which gets new front styling, updated interior tech, and some updated safety features as well. Let's check it out.
The updated styling to the CT5 includes these new LED lighting elements here and these stacked LED headlights. There's a very cool light signature as well for entry and exit. You get a larger upright grill here with sort of blockier styling below that. I think it looks really good. The Sport model also looks really good. You get black mesh and sort of a blacked-out grill treatment, looks really good and a lot more aggressive. Inside the refreshed CT5, you get this new curved 33-inch display that encompasses both your instrument panel and the touchscreen display. It's got Google built-in services, built-in Amazon Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. We've seen it in other Cadillacs, as well. We really like the system. Cadillac says the resolution is up to 9K, which is a crazy number to me, but that's great news. You get some revised climate controls down here. New safety features including blind zone steering assist and intersection automatic emergency braking. And the good news is you still get Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving feature. Everything else in the CT5 is pretty much the same. This is pre-production, so materials quality may change a little, but it feels nice. I have a good amount of room up front. The backseat's still roomy. It was a good car to begin with. Cadillac's made it just that much better. Powertrains for the 2025 CT5 carry over but we're still waiting for details on the higher performance CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing so we're showing you the older CT5-V Blackwing which is still really, really cool. While the updates to the CT5 aren't exactly groundbreaking, Cadillac has taken what was already a successful formula for them and made it just a bit better.
