2020 Honda Civic Hatchback Back With Minimal Price Bump

The Honda Civic hatchback is redesigned for 2020 and sees some fresh styling, updated tech and a small price bump across the board. (All prices include a $930 destination charge.)

For the marginally higher price increases among the rest of the lineup, you do get added features. Both versions of the Sport trim — the standard six-speed manual or the available continuously variable transmission — see an increase of $500 over last year, but also receive push-button start, keyless entry and an upgraded Display Audio multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. With the next-up EX trim, you’ll get an eight-way power driver’s seat, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob with the $400 price bump.
The EX-L trim starts at $26,280 and is actually $900 cheaper than the comparative 2019 EX-L Navi trim, which is no longer available. The “Navi” — Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System — will instead be standard only in the top Sport Touring trim.
The Sport Touring trim is now available with a six-speed manual transmission, starting at $28,980. You can still get the Sport Touring model with a CVT for $29,780 — only $100 more than last year.
