2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Start at $30,215
Chrysler’s lone new product for the year is the redesigned Jeep Grand Cherokee, which goes on sale in June. Today, the company announced a starting price of $30,215 for base Laredo 4×2, $495 less than the 2010 Laredo 4×2. It will cost $32,215 for the base Laredo 4×4 model, both before a $780 destination charge.
There are three trim levels, with a Limited 4×2 starting at $36,715 with the 4×4 starting at $39,215 and an Overland 4×2 starting at $38,715 with the 4×4 starting at $42,215 before destination. A 360-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 will be offered as an option as will a Trailer Tow Group. No SRT8 model was announced for 2011.
The three trim levels come standard with Chrysler’s new 3.6-liter V-6 engine putting out 290 hp and returning 23 mpg on the highway. It matches up well against Toyota’s new 4Runner with a 270-hp V-6 returning 22 mpg on the highway, though a base 4×4 4Runner starts at $30,915.

Standard features on the Laredo 4×4 model include Quadra-Trac I 4×4 system, 3.6-liter V-6 engine, Keyless Enter-N-Go, electronic stability control, hill start assist, electronic roll mitigation, trailer-sway control, front-seat side airbags and side curtain air bags for front and rear, active head restraints, power eight-way driver seat with power four-way lumbar adjust, fog lamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, Sirius Satellite Radio and 17-inch aluminum wheels.
Optional features include a 360-hp, 5.7-liter V-8 engine and a Trailer Tow Group.
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4×4
Limited 4×4 models add features that include Quadra-Trac II 4×4 system with Selec-Terrain, front and second-row heated leather seats, memory settings, bi-xenon high-intensity-discharge auto-leveling headlamps with SmartBeam, CommandView dual-pane panoramic sunroof, Parkview backup camera, Parksense rear park assist, premium audio, automatic temperature control, 18-inch aluminum wheels, Garmin navigation, rain-sensitive wipers and bright door handles.
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4×4
Overland 4×4 models add numerous features, including Quadra-Lift air suspension, premium interior with Nappa leather-trimmed and heated seats, vented front seats, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with memory, power tilt/telescope steering column, wood bezels, leather-stitched instrument panel/doors/center console armrest, power liftgate and 20-inch aluminum wheels.
