2012 Lexus CT 200h F Sport Package: More Details
Changes to the exterior include 17-inch high-gloss-finished wheels, a unique grille with a mesh pattern and a larger rear spoiler. Until Lexus shows us some official pics, we still imagine it will look something like the Five Axis Project CT concept (shown above) that the automaker showed off at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show.
On the inside, the CT gets a black leather-trimmed steering wheel and seats with white perforated holes. There’s also a black headliner, metal front scuff plates and pedals and a metallic finish to the dash trim. F Sport decals are sprinkled throughout the cabin and on the exterior.
The only major mechanical change is a sport-tuned suspension that includes an anti-sway bar and differentiated spring rates from the standard CT.
There will also be a limited F Sport Special Edition Package that includes different F Sport wheels and blue leather hide seats. The package will also come with a special Tumi duffle bag and backpack. Only 900 Special Edition models will be made.
We still have to wait for photos and pricing for the CT F Sport.
The CT has been a minor success story for Lexus, with sales considerably higher than the brand’s first hybrid-only model, the HS.
