Tracking the Fuel Economy of Cars.com's 2013 Honda Civic, 2013 Subaru BRZ

Cars.com staffers have stretched the highway legs of our 2013 Subaru BRZ since the previous update and returned with some impressive fuel-economy numbers. This trip’s mileage is the highest we’ve calculated on a tank of fuel — 35.94 mpg — and embarrasses the EPA’s 30 mpg highway rating and bested the onboard trip computer; it recorded 37.3 mpg for that jaunt. Our overall average is up 1.19 mpg thanks to multiple tanks over 30 mpg.
