Considering how much overall cargo space the 2014 Land Rover LR4 offers, shoppers may be surprised by how little room there is behind the optional third row. The 9.9 cubic feet of cargo space back there isn’t the most user-friendly because of its size as well as its two-piece tailgate/liftgate. It makes for awkward loading and creates a ledge that items have to be lifted or slid over.
Otherwise, the cargo area behind the second row is flat and tall, contributing to overall competitive cargo space with SUVs like the Acura MDX, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and Lexus GX 460. The optional third row may not be the best fit for families who need a sizable cargo area and a third row. Below, see the items we fit in the Land Rover LR4’s cargo area.
