Vehicles Affected: Approximately 9,900 model-year 2015-18 Lexus RC F coupes, model-year 2016-18 GS F sedans and model-year 2018 LC 500 coupes
The Problem: The cover of one of two high-pressure fuel pumps could become damaged over time and lead to a fuel leak that, in the presence of an ignition source, can increase the risk of fire.
The Fix: Dealers will replace both high-pressure fuel pumps with improved ones for free.
What Owners Should Do: Lexus will begin notifying owners in early April. Owners can call the automaker at 800-255-3987 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236, or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
