Vehicles Affected: Approximately 8,100 model-year 2016-17 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 and Mercedes-AMG GLC43 4Matic SUVs

The Problem: Misadjusted low-beam headlights could result in insufficient illumination of the road, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the headlamps and make adjustments, as necessary, for free.

What Owners Should Do: Mercedes-Benz will begin notifying owners this month. Owners can call the automaker at 877-496-3691, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
