CARS.COM — From the exterior, the 2017 Volvo S90 looks like it shares little with the vehicle it replaces, the S80 sedan. A higher-riding stance and gentler, more flowing lines give the S90, displayed at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, a stately appearance and make it look more agile than its predecessor. Volvo’s signature “Thor’s hammer” headlights and bandolier emblem across the front grille make a strong first impression. An elongated hood, contoured door panels and sloping roofline complete the S90’s look.
Inside, a large console divides the perforated leather front seats. A multimedia screen sits in the center stack, as do a pair of tall climate-control vents. From the driver’s seat, a two-tone stitched steering wheel frames the S90’s virtual gauges. Check out the gallery for more.
