2018-2019 McLaren Senna: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 130 model-year 2018-19 McLaren Senna sport cars

The Problem: In the affected vehicles, the engine harness may contact a metal link pipe heat shield, chafing the harness over time and potentially damaging the wires. This could result in a loss of power or an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will reroute the engine harness for free.

What Owners Should Do: McLaren has not yet provided an owner notification schedule. Owners can call the automaker at 855-202-8815, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
