CARS.COM — The AudiS5 Sportback is the S7’s little brother, a four-door “coupe” making its debut at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. In front, the S5 Sportback features the new wider and flatter grille that’s recently been making its way across Audi’s lineup. In back, much like the S7, the roofline sweeps downward toward a shortened deck lid. The entire rear hatch opens upward to provide access to the cargo area.
On the inside, one will find the usual Audi tech goodies: The Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, the Audi MMI infotainment system with handwriting recognition and Audi Connect for phone connectivity. The cargo area provides double the capacity of the S5 coupe, and the rear seatbacks fold down to provide additional space. The S5 Sportback features sport seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel just like its coupe sibling.
