2020 Mercedes-AMG GT: Recall Alert
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 150 model-year 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT coupes
The Problem: The emergency call system communication module may be missing the wiring harness ground line, which may cause the system to relay an inaccurate vehicle location and restrict the ability to communicate verbally with the call center, increasing the risk of injury in the event of an emergency.
The Fix: Dealers will dealers repair the wiring harness of the communication module for free.
What Owners Should Do: Mercedes-Benz will begin notifying owners June 20. Owners can call the automaker at 800-367-6372, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
