Vehicles Affected: Approximately 10,600 model-year 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB250 SUVs

The Problem: The rear spoiler above the tailgate may not have been welded correctly, which could result in parts of the spoiler detaching from the vehicle and becoming a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will inspect the rear spoiler and replace it, as necessary, for free.

What Owners Should Do: Mercedes-Benz will begin notifying owners Oct. 13. Owners can call the automaker at 800-367-6372, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
