2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Test Drive Video: Fewer Seats, More Style

We really like Volkswagen’s people mover, the Atlas. We named it our Best of 2018 vehicle, and have since given it our Family Car of the Year award. But what if you don’t need to move as many people? Check out the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, which ditches the third row and gets a little more of a stylish exterior.

It has a lot in common with the three-row Atlas but overall is smaller. The Atlas Cross Sport uses the same platform and comes from the same plant as the Atlas, and it also has the same width and same wheelbase. It’s 2.8 inches shorter than the regular Atlas, however, and its roofline is a couple of inches lower, too.
