The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is poised to move up a rung in the brand’s SUV ladder when the 2024 Trax makes its way to dealerships. For 2023, however, Chevrolet is merely adding new colors and bumping the price up to $23,395 (all pricing includes the $1,295 destination charge).
The exterior styling of the 2023 Trailblazer carries over from 2022, but Chevrolet has added three new colors: Sterling Gray Metallic, Nitro Yellow Metallic and Fountain Blue, the latter two of which are extra-cost options. The roof also gets a new available color called Iridescent Pearl Tricoat.
Powertrains also carry over. The base engine continues to be a 1.2-liter three-cylinder that makes 137 horsepower and 162 pounds-feet of torque; a turbocharged 1.3-liter three cylinder that makes 155 hp and 174 pounds-feet is available on the LT trim and standard on the Activ and RS. Both engines are mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive optional with the 1.3-liter engine. With FWD, the 1.2-liter engine has an EPA-rated 29/31/30 mpg city/highway/combined; with the 1.3-liter, it achieves 29/33/31 mpg. AWD Trailblazers garner a predictably lower rating of 26/30/28 mpg.
Pricing and Release Date
The 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer is available now. Full pricing is below; all-wheel drive adds $1,500-$2,000 to the price, trim depending.
