The Genesis GV70 luxury compact SUV returns for the 2023 model year mostly unchanged aside from some additions to its available packages, changes to its color palette and a bump in pricing.

The Select Package now has monobloc front brakes and a heated steering wheel, and a Lexicon premium audio system has been added to the Advanced Package. The Sport Prestige Package now comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and three-zone climate control. The rest of the changes mirror those on the bigger GV80, with the GV70 dropping Adriatic Blue, Himalayan Gray and Melbourne Gray Matte from the color roster; in their place will be Capri Blue, Makalu Gray and Makalu Gray Matte. Capri Blue is already in production, but the remaining two colors won’t be available until March 2023.

Powertrains are carried over from 2022, with the base engine being a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 300 horsepower and gets an EPA-rated 22/28/24 mpg city/highway/combined. Meanwhile, a turbo 3.5-liter V-6 makes 375 hp and gets 19/24/21 mpg. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
