The Chevrolet Blazer doesn’t change much for the 2024 model year, with a new exterior paint option and newly standard heated front seats. The price has hardly changed, too: The two-row mid-size SUV sees a modest $300 bump only to its starting price, now at $36,795 (all pricing includes $1,395 destination charge).
Buyers can now choose Riptide Blue Metallic as an exterior color at no extra cost, replacing the Blue Glow Metallic from previous years. The interior doesn’t get any new colors; in fact, it gets less. The base 2LT trim downsizes from two interior color choices — an all-black option and a black-and-gray combo for 2023 — to just the black-and-gray combo. Going up the line, the 3LT, RS and top-of-the-line Premier trims still come with the same perforated leather interior options. On the plus side, those in the front seats will be staying appropriately warm, as the Blazer gets newly standard heated front seats across all trims for 2024.
As for technology, the Blazer returns with the 10.2-inch infotainment system, which includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Navigation is standard on just the RS and Premier trims, and is available on the 3LT trim level for an extra $2,435 as part of the optional Sound and Technology Package, which also includes wireless charging, a rear camera mirror and a rear camera washer.
Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision alert and lane departure steering assist. Adaptive cruise control and enhanced auto emergency braking are available on all trims.
Performance
The Blazer is still powered by a 228-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or an available 308-hp, 3.6-liter V-6. Both are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the SUV comes with standard front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive for an extra $2,700 or $2,900, trim depending.
Pricing and Availability
