2025 Acura ADX: New Entry-Level SUV Offers Premium Style and Content, Starts in Mid-$30,000s
Competes with: Audi Q3, BMW X1, Lexus UX and NX, Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class
Looks like: A smaller RDX
Powertrains: Turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine; continuously variable automatic transmission; front- or all-wheel drive
Hits dealerships: Early 2025
Acura is buttressing the success of its sub-$35,000 Integra with a new entry-level SUV that slots below the RDX. Set to launch early next year, the all-new 2025 Acura ADX will be priced just a few grand more than the Integra and some $10,000 less than the RDX.

The ADX shares a lot with the Integra — it’s built on the same architecture and powered by the same turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Acura isn’t quoting output figures yet, but the Integra’s turbo 1.5 makes 200 horsepower and 192 pounds-feet of torque; it’s hard to imagine the engine would be detuned in a larger and heavier vehicle.
One piece the ADX won’t share with the Integra is the sedan’s available six-speed manual transmission. A continuously variable automatic is the only available transmission, although standard paddle shifters and programming to simulate gear changes seek to impart some sportiness. In the ADX’s pros column is available all-wheel drive, which sends up to 50% of the torque to the rear wheels.
Generous Space and Equipment
At 185.8 inches long, the ADX is nearly as long as the RDX and substantially stretched compared to entry-level SUVs from competitors Audi and BMW; however, though the Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class also is shorter, it squeezes an available third row into its tidy footprint. The ADX only has two rows of seats, but its manufacturer-estimated 24.4 cubic feet of cargo volume (55.1 with the second-row seats folded) is competitive for the class.
The ADX should feel appropriately upmarket inside, with upholstery available in black, red and black, or orchid and blue. That last one sounds iffy until you realize Acura is talking about a white orchid — maybe there’s a slight tint to it, but we’ll have to wait to see the ADX in person. Other standard features include a moonroof, power liftgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a wireless charging pad, eight speakers, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The AcuraWatch suite of advanced driver-assist systems is also standard on the 2025 ADX. Content varies among the brand’s models, but here it includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-centering steering, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic jam assist, road-sign recognition, a driver attention monitor and a rear-seat reminder.
Two Levels of A-Spec
The ADX is available in three trim levels. In addition to the base content outlined above, the step-up A-Spec includes 19-inch alloy wheels (an inch larger than the base trim’s), sportier interior and exterior styling, a panoramic moonroof and LED foglights. Inside, it features sport seats (ventilated in front) upholstered in synthetic suede with red contrast stitching, a power-adjustable passenger seat, ambient lighting and stainless-steel pedals.
At the top of the ADX lineup is the A-Spec With Advance Package, which gets black 19-inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, a 360-degree camera system, hands-free power liftgate, remote start and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The A-Spec With Advance Package’s cabin features leather seats with synthetic-suede inserts, a heated steering wheel, Google Built-In with Alexa, and a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The 2025 Acura ADX will arrive at dealerships early in 2025, which means we won’t have to wait long to see exactly where the pricing lands. Based on what we know so far, though, the ADX is looking like a pretty appealing package.
