Every one of the Jeep Gladiator’s nine trim levels is fundamentally a four-door convertible pickup truck powered by a 285-horsepower V-6. Roughly equal parts luxury trimmings, cosmetic tweaks and sturdy off-road gear account for the $22,000-odd spread between a base Gladiator Sport and the range-topping Rubicon X.

2025 Jeep Gladiator Sport S
$45,345 MSRP $50,900

Dark (or Light or Green) Sky

The new Dark Sky does not change that, but it does bring some of the appearance of the pricier Gladiators down to a more accessible price point. Based on the Sport S trim, which starts at $43,595 (all prices include a $1,995 destination charge), the Dark Sky wears the scooped hood of the $53,095 Mojave. It also features body-color fenders instead of the black pieces that are standard on the Sport S. Buyers wanting to complete the monochromatic look can opt for a body-color hardtop, which isn’t otherwise available on the Sport S without first opting for the $4,295 Premium Package.

Despite its name, the Dark Sky can be painted any of the nine colors available on the Sport S, including notably not-dark hues like lime green, orange, red and white. Perhaps Dark Sky refers to the exterior badges and decals, which are in fact dark.

Pricing and Availability

Priced at $1,495, the Dark Sky Appearance Package brings the Gladiator Sport S up to $45,090, a savings of $8,005 for Jeep shoppers who just want the Mojave’s looks without its upgraded suspension and burlier running gear. It is on sale now.
