Vehicles Affected: Approximately 620,000 model-year 2020 Ford Edge, Escape, Expedition and Explorer SUVs; Ford F-150, Super Duty F-250 and F-350, and Ranger pickup trucks; Mustang coupes; Transit vans; and Lincoln Corsair and Nautilus SUVs
The Problem: Due to a poor electrical connection, the rearview camera may intermittently display a blank or distorted image, reducing rearward visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the rearview camera for free.
What Owners Should Do: Lincoln manufacturer Ford will begin notifying owners Nov. 7. Owners can call the automaker at 866-436-7332, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
