CARS.COM — Existing hydrogen-fuel-cell vehicles may boldly go with a futuristic design aesthetic — perhaps a future where hydrogen-fuel-cell refilling is convenient — but not the Audi H-Tron Quattro. The concept hydrogen-fuel-cell SUV takes a more earthbound approach and would look right at home next to would-be brethren like the Q3 and Q5.
The only sci-fi-influenced flourishes are its horizontally linear, robotlike grille, headlights and air intakes, as well as LED taillights that stretch in a continuous line across the back of the vehicle and meet in the middle at Audi’s four-rings emblem. Audi saved the space-age stuff for the interior, where curved screens abound, along with floating control surfaces, ambient blue lighting and enterprising starship-cockpit styling cues.
