Cars.com's 10 Biggest Expert Reviews of 2024
Here at Cars.com, we want to give readers a well-rounded look at the automotive world, featuring the latest models, helping readers score better deals on their next cars and highlighting issues you should care about, from recalls to data privacy. A big part of this is getting hands-on with the most important new cars in our expert reviews, so it should come as no surprise that our most popular review of 2024 was one of the most well-rounded vehicles on the market today: the 2024 Hyundai Palisade.

The ever-popular Palisade was revamped for the 2023 model year, but we’ve liked the Palisade since it debuted for 2020 — so much so that it won that year’s 2020 3-Row SUV Challenge. We didn’t rerun the 3-Row SUV Challenge until 2024, but lo and behold, the Palisade took top honors yet again. In our most popular review of 2024, Detroit Bureau Chief Aaron Bragman said that while there are certain things other SUVs do better, the Palisade does a bit of everything well, and everything you get for its price makes it a great value.
Family vehicles, including the Toyota Sienna minivan and Rivian R1S and Kia EV9 electric SUVs, dominated our list of top 10 most popular reviews. The most popular marque on our list was Toyota, and it’s not surprising to see that all three Toyotas appearing are hybrids. Demand for hybrids has nearly doubled since 2021, according to Experian, as shoppers crave lower fuel bills but aren’t always willing to commit to plugging in an all-electric car.
