Starting in June 2025, owners of the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX will have access to more than 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across the U.S. as Honda rolls out an approved adapter for its models.
The new Honda-approved NACS-CCS DC fast-charging adapter will be sold through authorized Honda and Acura dealerships; pricing details have not yet been announced. The adapter has been tested for safety and compatibility with both models, and Honda warns that using unapproved adapters could cause damage that may not be covered under warranty. Owners will be notified through the HondaLink and Acura EV apps when adapters become available for purchase. The apps will also provide location information for compatible Supercharger stations.
Honda says the move will expand fast-charging access for its electric-vehicle customers, complementing existing partnerships with EVgo, Electrify America and the new Ionna charging network. The company is working toward providing access to 100,000 DC fast-charging points in North America by 2030.
