Land Rover Announces 2026 Defender 110 Trophy Edition

The current-generation Land Rover Defender’s boxy styling is pure heritage, a direct callback to the iconic off-roader of the 1990s right down to the available two-door body style. Now, Land Rover has announced the 2026 Defender 110 Trophy Edition, which celebrates the brand’s upcoming throwback competition that harkens back to the Camel Trophy and G4 Challenge events that tested Land Rovers and their drivers between 1980 and 2008.

Land Rover bills the new Defender Trophy as an “adventure competition” but has so far provided few details beyond a rough timeline. Competitors will face off in driving challenges, physical challenges and what Land Rover calls “ingenuity challenges,” which are tests of problem-solving skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure; the global championship will be held in Africa in October 2026. Land Rover promises the winners a chance to participate in “an epic mission” with African conservation organization Tusk.

Defender 110 Trophy Edition
Land Rover fans who fancy this idea — but not enough to get involved — can catch a little reflected glory sans malaria risk by scooping up a Defender 110 Trophy Edition. Available in a choice of two “heritage-inspired” colors, Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green, the Trophy Edition gets a two-tone look with a black hood, roof, upper body, lower-body trim and 20-inch wheels wearing all-terrain tires. A matte-finish wrap is optional. The Trophy Edition also features black brake calipers, front and rear bumper bits, and wheel-arch trim.
The exterior of the Trophy Edition is also thoroughly accessorized with adventure gear: a roof rack and ladder, C-pillar-mounted gear box, mud flaps and a snorkel. Exclusive decals on the hood and C-pillar distinguish the Trophy Edition from similarly kitted Defenders. Inside, the Trophy Edition is upholstered in black leather and features a dash panel painted to match the exterior of the vehicle, laser-etched with Trophy branding.
Release Date and Pricing
Land Rover has not yet announced an on-sale date or pricing for the 2026 Defender 110 Trophy Edition, but the four-door 2025 Defender 110 starts at $62,425 and a similarly optioned example runs about $75,000 (prices include $1,625 destination charge).
