Movers and Losers: July's Top 10 SUVs, Crossovers

Our new Movers and Losers format isn’t getting universal approval, but it does seem to be painting the picture we’ve always intended it to. It’s clear that new and redesigned models are selling quickly despite slumping overall sales, even in the SUV segment.

While the Ford Flex is selling quickly, the total number of units sold isn’t as impressive as the Buick Enclave’s, so it still has a ways to go. Of course, Ford hasn’t ramped up a full advertising campaign yet, and reviews are just now hitting the internet.

The new Honda Pilot is also selling quickly, but as many readers will notice, its sales are down compared to last year. We wonder if Honda is limiting production early to keep demand high, or if potential Pilot buyers are feeling the economic crunch. Check out the full list of winners and losers below. We’re no longer breaking down luxury and non-luxury models either.
