It might be the perfect car to put on sale in summer and now we know how much it will cost to buy one. The completely redesigned 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata will start at $25,735, including a destination charge, when the droptop arrives at dealerships in a few months.

The company announced the starting price of the entry-level Sport trim today, but didn’t expand on full pricing of the Club and Grand Touring trims. The Sport comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming, and a USB input.
The price is $945 more than the current 2015 MX-5 Sport model’s $24,790 sticker. Prices for the 2015 Club and Grand Touring are $27,725 and $28,370, respectively, and we predict a similar pricing structure for the 2016.
Mazda will be releasing more details at the 2015 New York International Auto Show later this week.
