After successfully passing the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s rollover test, Toyota’s 2011 Avalon and 2011 Sienna as well as the 2010 Lexus RX 350 have been awarded the Institute’s Top Safety Pick designation. According to IIHS, “The award recognizes the vehicles that earn the highest rating of Good for front, side, rollover and rear crash protection, and that have electronic stability control, which is standard on all three of these models.”

As an added bonus for Toyota, the Sienna is the first minivan to win a Top Safety Pick award since IIHS revamped its criteria for the 2010 model year.
